Agadir
This seaside resort is renowned for its golf courses, wide crescent beach and seafront promenade lined with cafes, restaurants and bars. Perched on a hill, the Kasbah of Agadir was destroyed during an earthquake in 1960, but its original walls are still standing.
Marrakech
medieval city dating from the Berber Empire, with alleys intertwined like a labyrinth, where the souks (markets) sell fabrics, pottery and traditional jewelry. Symbol of the city, the minaret of the 12th century Koutoubia Moorish mosque can be seen for miles.
